So, here we are in Lancaster, CA. And we made it on the date that we had set, Jan16th! The drive was good and the kids were great. The house is beautiful. We have been here for 3 months and it has gone my so fast. I can't believe it. Things are settling in and the kids are adjusting great. We have made a lot of new friends. A lot are also married college students so that makes it really nice. We get together often so that helps out a lot. Our son has started baseball and is doing great. Soon basketball will start and we will be able to get Kaylee and Owen both into that. Things are looking great. God never fails. He has been so gracious to us!
I would love to start sharing some food dishes that I have made recently with you all and I hope that you all will enjoy them as much as I have. So please stay posted as I get ready to start sharing.
Please keep praying that God continues to work in our lives.

It's official...
We are leaving for Bible College on January 16, 2012. Just just went back to Lancaster, CA for their Spiritual Leadership Conf this month and we were so impressed yet again. All of the preaching and sessions that we took were amazing. It really made us realize that this is where we are supposed to be. We were going to wait another year before going, but being there just confirmed that we need to get there as soon as possible. So, Jan 16th, we will load up the kids and all of our stuff and head out.
Not only did we surrender to full time ministry a year ago, but this trip made us realize that we want to be on the mission field. So, we did!! We surrendered to be missionaries. We are super excited about that. It is going to be a lot of work, but in the long run, we will be serving the Lord and that is all that matters.
All we ask is that you keep us in your prayers and we prepare to get everything ready to go. Also, that we can save enough money to make the move. We know God is in this and that He will provide all our need!!

Bible College
My husband and I went to visit Heartland Baptist Bible College in January and just came back from visiting West Coast Baptist College. Let me tell you, WCBC is the place for us. We felt so much at home and we loved it. We felt that the first time we visited back in July 2010, but this just confirmed it for us. We will be leaving our home Aug 1, 2011 and heading for Lancaster, CA. The kids seem to be excited about it, especially since they will be attending the Lancaster Baptist School! (Hopefully) Please pray the the next few months go smoothly and that our house will sell. We are both very excited about kind of starting this over in a new place. :)

A New Year
Here we are in 2011! Wow that year went by so fast. My youngest just turned 2 years old. My husband and I still have not made a decision yet on what bible college will be going to in August. We are visiting Heartland Baptist Bible College in Oklahoma City this month to check it out with our pastor. We are also looking at West Coast Baptist College in Lancaster, CA. We are very excited about the journey that our family will be taking. We know that God will take care of us and help us to make the right decision on where to go. We are in the process of loading our house up in a storage pod to get ready for the move. It is nerve racking but exciting at the same time. I will keep you posted on any further decisions we make regarding the college.

Goodwill Saturday
I absolutely LOVE Goodwill's 50% of Saturdays. I want to share with you a great find that I came across. I found this beautiful blue bowl just sitting on a shelf. It is crazy, because I never look on the shelves when I am rummaging thru the clothes. But I did, and I found it. I am redoing my living room in brown and blue with an orange accent. So finding this bowl was super awesome to me. I love sharing my great finds. I got the bowl for about $2.00!! How great is that!!! I hope to share more great finds with you in the future!!

I have the privilege of staying home with them which gives me the opportunity to sew and make some fun creations. I love sewing and reusing things to make new stuff.
